More about Chris Taylor
On the 10th of August 1988, Chris Taylor received a letter containing two arsenic-laced chocolates at his legal practice. An accompanying letter claiming to be from a reputable national sweet manufacturer, referred to him as a "discerning consumer" and read; "Please enjoy the chocolates in your gift presentation - then complete the questionnaire and return it in the enclosed pre-paid envelope." Needless to say, neither Chris nor his secretary , with whom he shared the chocolates, had any idea that there was anything wrong with them. This was to prove an almost fatal assumption. |
